For those wondering, a 'chancleta' is the Cuban colloquial term for a flip flop. Hospitality teams perform rigorously to beat out their local competition in events like the chancleta toss for distance and accuracy, bobbing for chancletas, and relay race. The winning team in 2021 was none other than Finka Table and Tap representing West Kendall. Who will win the 2022 games remains to be seen, but it's a spectacle you won't want to miss.
